i finally got a copy!!! yey! yey! yey!..thanks to sodexho...hahaha! :)

it was a brave move by the organizers to get various artist from different genres..there was southborder, paolo santos , MYMP. I have read a lot of reviews regarding the CD...here is mine... :) .. DAPAT OBJECTIVE!!!...hahahah!

Alapaap by 6 cycle mind - fair rating for their rendition of the song...you'll find yourself stomping while listening to the song...and at the end...the touch of..."GUSTO MO BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..sumama!"

Magasin by Paolo Santos - "iba ang YONG tingin...iba na ang YONG ngiti.." hahah... oh well..style ni paolo santos yun e... :P...I find his voice to strong for this song...specailly the part..."Nakita sa isang magasin..at sobrang gulat...di ko napansin..BASTOS pala ang PAMAGAT... ... ... ..." The guitar effects was cool.

Spoliarium by Imago - Pagbagsak palang ng drums ni Zach sa simula... ay..bangis!!!...signature na niya ata yun...Aia...galing...you wont find the voice that singed Akap and taning in their version of spolarium...galing!!!...asteg...this is one of my favorites sa album... you'll find yourself whining with Aia..."aaahhhhhh...aaahhhhhh...ahhhhhhhhhhhh.... ewan ko at ewan natin...sinong may pakana...at bakit ba tumilapon ang spolarium jan sa paligod mo..."...mysterious yung dating ng kanta...galing!!! :)

Overdrive by Barbie Almabis - Barbie and her soft voice...same way that ely buendia did with the original version...sige...drive drive lang...PACHAL PACHAL!!! :)...biglang may...kwitis sa kanta...hahahah!!! Did she used synchronizer in the song??? I was looking for the second voice sa end part...not same with the old...kaya di ko napansin...hahaha...parang masyado nilang nilaro yung mga chord riffs nila pati yung drum pattern nila...PACHAL PACHAL nalang! :)

With a Smile by Southborder - I think the reason many people didnt like this version is that they were able to transform this alternative rock song to a beautiful RnB song. Honestly...maganda yung version nila...they did justice to the song...Ü...Jay Durias did a good job sa re-arrangement ng kanta...ang lalamig ng boses nila... "do-du-doooooooo....let me hear you singing...ITs no wonder love can make the world go...round and round and round and round..."...awwww....sarap patugtog sa background while you are consoling your depressed friend whatsoever to that effect...hahaha!Ü!

Tikman by Sugarfree - when i first heard the intro...i thought it was orange and lemons...hehehe...in my opinion, i think they could have picked Tinadahan ni Aling Nena instead...mas bagay sakanila...(bakit nga ba walang gumawa ng revision na yun?!?!Ü!). In fairness to sugarfree...they gave the song more body ika nga nila...para siyang conditioner sa buhok na nagdagdag ng extra shine at extra dulas sa buhok...hahahahah...Ü...listen to the last 2-3 chorus...it was so sugerfree...pero maganda ang lapat sa kanta...Ü...ayos! :)!...mahusay din talaga ang boses ni ebe...PANDAY NA!!!!..hahaha!Ü!

Ligaya by Kitchie Nadal - obviously, it sounded like madonna, kasi may synchronizer na ginamit...sayang...im curious how kitchie's real husky rock voice match this song...sabay tawa pa...ay mali..Giggle...hahaha...parang bedroom voice ang voice ni kitchie...hahaha..samantala sa original...ely is somehow belting his vocal chords sa kantang ito..parang si ely..."LIIIIIGAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"...sana wala nalang synchronizer...Ü...pero saya...ang saya pakinggan nung baseline...naalala ko si kopi...Sayang din the chuwariwap part/effect wasnt there...cute pa man din nun...sana chuwariwap nalang kesa giggle effect...hahaha!Ü!

Torpedo by Isha- honestly...this is hte most off song sa buong album...hmmm...bukod sa hard to believe...pero wala pa tayo dun...mamaya na yun..(hahaha!!!)...she could have chose a different song...maybe Punk Zappa???..hahahah...kiddin...parang naging opera kasi ang dating nung piano niya and her voice is quite malambing for the song...e parang iritado nga yung tema nung kanta diba???..parang hindi e...so parang you wont believe her na naiirita na siya kasi ang lambing ng boses niya...hahaha!Ü

Superproxy by Francis M - with or without ely buendias participation...his version is way coooooool!...feel na feel mo sabayan yung part na... "sawa ka na ba, sa mga hustle ng buhay mo..."...Francis M...walang kakupas kupas...Rock and Rap in one song...HOT pare!!!Ü! Yun nga lang...theres no substitue for the real thing.haha

Huwag kang matakot by Orange n Lemons - too much Tangy...too much lemony :( ...oh well they did it their way... :)...pero ok yung part na siningit nila yung lyrics ng Tikman...hehehe.

Pare ko by Sponge Cola - with all due respect to sponge and all their hits...i got disappointed with their version of Pare ko...I think i'll still choose to hear their old mono version...kahit tunog lata lang... My initial reaction when i heard their version..."Ay di ko nafeel yung pare ko na feeling..."...hindi siya yung tipo ng version na gusto niyo pakinggan magkakaibigan...all drunk and heartbroken...then sabay sabay..."...diba...tangena..."...hmmmm...di ko ma-explain...pakinggan niyo lang...then you'll know what i mean...medyo nadisturb lang din ako the way yael said..."wooooo...ooohhhhh..."...oh oh oh! and one one thing...hinanap namin ni ali yung part na..."Dehins ako naniwala..." na second voice..hahah...Parang naging masyadong mabigat yung kanta...di tulad ng dati... :...siguro its the way na rin nakinanta ni yael...ewan..parang ganung...waheheh!..."Kailangan tanggapi-hin"...parang ganun...=p...pero ganda rin..nilaro nila yung mga riffs at drums...heheh...

Huwag mo nang itanong by MYMP- Juris...i really admire her voice...crystal clear!!! pang pakalma ang kantang ito...steady lang!Ü!

Hard to Believe by Cueshe - They didnt changed the arrangement that much..halos same lang...when i was listening to the song...i remembered eheads fruitcake album... :)...i fond it hard to believe...bakit sila...hahaha!!! I used to like this song very much before sa Sticker Happy album nila...it was too much of the Alex Band effect...parang nasusuka nalang ako habang napapkinggan ko sila na kinakanta...i could imagine their tonsils wiggling wiggling while they are trying to reach those mailto:notes...hahaha...!@$$#$&^%#!@^%%#!@%!$#^@%#!$%!$#%#!$^%!$#^$^!#%!$^^$#....hahaha....Its so hard to believe nga!!! hahahahah!

Alcohol by Radio Active Sago Project - Nobody can do this rendition except for Radio Active Sago... the sax was goooooooooooooooooooooodddddd....sabayan mo pa ng nilalarong gitara...GALENG!!!...sabay..drum rollsss......SHET!!!...PUTANG INA....hahahaha!!!... if you want to vent out some ...si kiko maching...nasa dulo ng kanta...ALCOHOL...ALCOHOL!!!

Maling Akala by Brownman Revival - their version is good...sana nga lang...nasabay siya ilabas together with the other songs in the album...ang labas tuloy...medyo..sawa na yung tao...hehehe...


Ang Huling El Bimbo by Rico J. Puno - as posted in other reviews...whoever thought that Rico J do the revival of this song is a genius... TRUE!!!...as if this song was his very own. Sakanya yung original at eheads ang gumawa ng revival. hehehe...Yung pa-paos paos effect worked well for the song. "Naninigassss ang aking katawan..."...yiheeee....mapapsayaw ka talga...ok fine..in my case...sway sway lang muna...hahahahah!Ü!

OVERALL, the album is good buy...hmmm...must buy...i swear...marami nang susunod na same format...tribute album...hehehe...Congratulations to all the artist who dared to dot heir own versions...pero iba pa rin talga yung original...kahit tunog mono at tunog lata lang...iba pa rin yung dating...
